I’ve been recently asked: “What do you find your joy in? What makes you glow and love life?”
My straight answer? “I’m not really sure”. But I realized I was actually misleading my fellow friend.
The next second I would give it another thought and, shortly after that, I said:
“Writing. This is what makes me enjoy life. What makes me glow? Love. As love can be associated to everything around us and, as I’ve been told some time ago, “Love is the most beautiful make up a woman can wear”. For men, I could say that
“Love is the most beautiful scent a man can leave behind!”
Bottom line: my life revolves around love and writing. The joint of the two makes my utmost point of interest. I’m sure there’s a way to chase both: one wing on professional level, the other wing on personal level. But both of them have the same intensity. And, like the wings, they embrace each other at times, during the flutter… Being in love gives my writing a glitter and a flow I can’t describe. Especially if I involve my hero in it…
At least that’s the kind of reaction I get from my few dedicated readers. They say they can almost hear the sound and feel the vibes of words while reading the texts I (indirectly) describe him in. Their feedback is amazing: they would dream about such a deep, “barely-human” connection as the one between us.
Actually, he (the guy I’m madly in love with) is “to blame” for chasing my dream of writing. He’s the you-can-do-it kind of man. But he wouldn’t see his own beauty and wouldn’t make his dreams worth a chance…
